What this means to You

The various symptoms associated with estradiol, progesterone or testosterone deficiency and the symptoms associated with androgen excess have been merged into the Menopause Type® Questionnaire. The information is then used to determine your menopause type® based on symptoms.

However, it is very important that you realize that most of these symptoms may also be symptoms of other hormonal imbalances, including adrenal or thyroid hormones. In addition, your symptoms may also be symptoms of nutritional deficiencies, or lifestyle choices such as inadequate rest or exercise.

The other causes of your symptoms will be discussed in this module. By seeing that there are many causes of your symptoms, you can understand why there are so many therapeutic choices available to you. You can also understand why your healthcare professional may choose to start you on nutraceuticals after studying the results from your Menopause Type® Questionnaire.

What's Next?

We will now take a closer look at the Menopause Type® Questionnaire and learn how this tool can be used to understand your unique symptom picture and how this will affect the therapies you choose.
