The
Menopause Type® Questionnaire
You can use
the Menopause Type® Questionnaire to determine your menopause type®
based on symptoms of menopause. It's important to note that this
questionnaire only evaluates symptoms. Symptoms say a lot about your quality
of life, but do not give enough information to determine what your risks are
for developing osteoporosis, heart disease or other diseases associated with
menopause. You will also need lab tests and other tests, such a bone density,
to determine you risks for disease.
However,
understanding these symptoms can guide you and your physician in making
lifestyle, nutritional and herbal choices that are right for you. Paying attention
to these symptoms can enhance your quality of life.
About the Questionnaire.
Within the
questionnaire there are 50 numbered questions. Within each numbered question
there may be one or more questions.

For example,
a few questions contain a single query: "Are your hands or feet
colder?"
Many
questions contain more than one query: "Are you more irritable? Do you
have more nervous tension?"
You should
answer yes if you experience any part of the question. After
you and your healthcare professional analyze the questionnaire, your will
know your menopause type®
based on symptoms.
This
Questionnaire is designed to help you collect and analyze information about
your symptoms.
The 50
numbered questions are divided into 8 different sections, designated Section
A through G. Each of these sections asks about symptoms associated with one
or more hormone imbalance.
Estrogen
deficiency symptoms, progesterone deficiency symptoms, testosterone
deficiency symptoms and androgen excess symptoms are mixed throughout
different sections of the questionnaire.
Sections are
analyzed to determine Menopause Type® based on the percentage of
symptoms that you have.
What this means to you

associated with menopause.
